Spring will be here soon which means Spring Gardens – Yay! Here’s a simple yet rustic, Spring Carrot Sign made out of a scrap piece of pallet wood, a Silhouette cut file and scrapbooking paper.
I have to admit, I’m sorta jealous of all you green-thumbed people able to bring back the life of your gardens. I haven’t been much of a gardener since I moved to Southern Nevada. My postage stamp back yard, full of rocks without irrigation seriously inhibits my green thumb.
Carrot Pallet Sign

Since I’m unable to grow real carrots, I’ll just resort to making paper carrots. Wait, who am I kidding? I don’t even like carrots so I wouldn’t grow them if I could.
To make this Carrot Pallet Sign, I used my Silhouette to cut out an Echo Park Paper Carrot cut file then adhered it on to a piece of scrap pallet wood using Mod Podge.
The carrot stem was cut out twice and curled to provide the carrot top fullness and dimension.
The Carrot Pallet Sign is wrapped with natural cord and a green ribbon. Just a simple, rustic garden project to welcome in any Spring Garden with or without carrots.
