How to make Flower Shaped Cards

April 6, 2015 by Holly Gagnon 4 Comments

It’s officially April and what do April Showers bring?  May Flowers, of course!  I know, it’s not May yet but flowers are great any time of the year even paper flowers like on these Flower Shaped Cards.

Flower Shaped Cards

I used the Pebbles Inc Home Grown patterned papers and printed chipboard shapes to make my pretty Flower Shaped Cards.

The card base is cut from a Flower Shaped Card cut file by Lori Whitlock  out of white card stock and  matted with Home Grown patterned papers.

Paper Flowers by @pebblesinc Home Grown Collection. Curl edges and layer together to make dimensional

I made the paper flowers dimensional by curling the petals up, inking the edges then layering the flowers together with foam dots.

The Flower Cards were really easy to embellish using the Home Grown Ephemera Flower Chips and Crystal Pebbles Candy Dots.

Inside of the card, I trimmed out a Journaling Card  to use as a sentiment.

Then added a few accents stickers inside.

Wishing you lots of Pretty  Flowers this Spring and if you don’t happen to get any, just make some Flower Shaped Cards out of pretty paper.
