This DIY  Gift Idea for the Coffee Lover  will surely warm any Mother’s heart this Mother’s Day.  Now, if she’s anything like me, she’d also love a new,  gold coffee tumbler with a pretty scallop circle flower made out of Kraft paper on the front.  Can you tell I made myself my own Mother’s Day present… shhh.

Most of us Mom’s don’t need much except the love and respect from our husband and family.  Cough. Cough.  Ok, we definitely want nice, thoughtful gifts but a gift card is always appreciated too.

 

The tumbler is embellished with jute string and a layered Scallop Circle Paper Flower made from Pebbles Inc. Home + Made Metal Dies,  Burlap Cardstock and Glitter Kraft Bags.

 

• Cut out a Scallop Circle using a die or punch.
• Using scissors, cut each edge of scallop towards center.
• Curl and separate the edges to make into flower petals.
• Add a button in the center.

The gift card holder is made from machine stitching a zig-zag stitch up the sides of a Kraft Glitter bag and then a lil’ Home + Made cardstock sticker  stuck on the front.   You can view my tutorial on how to make this easy gift card holder.  Super Easy!
