Emoji’s! We all love them and use them daily with social media so why not throw an Emoji Birthday Party with those cute little, yellow happy faced circles. Plus, Emoji’s are super easy to decorate with since it’s basically yellow circles with funny faces, right?

I’ve always made my kids birthday party decorations over the years. Basically since they come up with a birthday theme that I can’t find in the party stores or I’m too cheap to pay a small fortune for lame decorations.
Some of my kids party themes have included The Avengers, Minecraft, Sew Cute Laloopsy and Ladybugs. Of course, a DIY birthday party also means content to share on my blog so it’s a win, win too. 🙂
But this year, my daughter wanted an Emoji Birthday swim Party. Since Emoji’s are trending right now, I was able to purchase almost everything I needed from Hobby Lobby or it was sent straight to my doorstep off Amazon. Love Amazon!
I still did incorporated my own creative emoji touches but I sure didn’t spent time recreating the wheel. Thank you Pinterest!
Since the Emoji napkins were super cute and I had a lot of them to spare, I stitched them together using my sewing machine to create a simple DIY table runner. If you don’t have a sewing machine handy, you could easily attach napkins together with hot glue too.
Emoji yellow paper lanterns were hung around the party table. I found this idea on Pinterest and printed off the free printable to attach on to the lanterns. I think they turned out so cute. Thank you Frog Prince Paperie for the idea!
The Emoji Party Table centerpiece was decorated with yellow and red candies, emoji plates, stick balloons and paper straws.
The Emoji Gumballs were a huge hit too! The girls absolutely loved them and they were perfect to use as table centerpiece.
Since I purchased chocolate cupcakes and an emoji faced cake from my local grocery store bakery all we had to do was add candy eyes on to the cupcakes to turn them in to Poop Emoji’s. I know it’s sorta gross but they really did turn out so cute and of course, the girls loved it!
You can’t have a pool party without without inflatables, right? The Emoji Beach Balls where just as much a hit as gumballs were and each girl was able to bring one home as a party favor too.
I know I mentioned how easy it is to decorate for an Emoji Birthday Party, but again I always have to take my creative process above and beyond sometimes. Like having each girl create their own Emoji T-shirt by using my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out using heat transfer vinyl. I did stuck to simple Emoji faces though so I’d be able to easily cut them out.
This whole party was about not recreating the wheel, seriously. There are so many Emoji Birthday Party ideas on Pinterest that there is no real reason to recreate everything.
