Lalaloopsy Birthday Party Table
I can see now why people hire or have a {talented} friend be in charge of the party pics. It’s hard work being a hostess to over 40 people {most of then being less than 7 yo} and trying to obtain a few good snaps of all your efforts before they’re enjoyed and destroyed.
My daughter’s party was back in November. I’m just now blogging her party ’cause I have a lil’ thing called “Blog Post Picture OCD” and I’m not thrilled with my photography. I was extremely happy with the party and for the amazing weather that day, just wish my pics were a lil’ better. Sigh…. Oh well, it’s about the birthday girl, not Mama’s blog. teehee.
Lalaloopsy Party Banner
The Lalaloopsy inspired banner was made from a blue polka-dot print fill pattern and the Print N Cut feature on my Silhouette.
In case you’re not aware, Lalaloopy’s are all about buttons. They wouldn’t be able to see if they didn’t have them {creepy} button eyes so adding Buttons Galore buttons and yarn flowers on to the banner provided a Sew Cute whimsical feel.
Yarn Ball Decorations
Besides having button eyes, the dolls hair is made of yarn. I added a Lalaloopsy yarn ball centerpiece to the party table along with a few of my daughter’s dolls. Yarn balls are super easy to make, view my tutorial on how to make yarn balls.

Lalaloopsy Birthday Cake
The birthday girl decided to have cake this year instead of cupcakes. Fine with me since it was gonna be a big party and I didn’t really wanna make 50+ cupcake toppers anyways. Yikes!
Good ol’ Costco hooked us up with a {feels like 10#} cake and the birthday girl picked out a few of her favorite Lalaloopsy toys to use as cake decorations.
Button Party Favors
Chocolate Buttons {candy melts, actually} were passed out as party favors. Sew Cute, huh? View my tutorial on how I made these Chocolate Button Favors .
