Easy Banana Bundt Cake with Cake Plate Banner
My family likes simple food. Simple recipes, simple sides and simple deserts. I tend to think there a lil’ boring since ya know, I live in the land of Pinterest which can be oh not so simple. My simple family just happens to like simple cakes too. I can’t go all frosting, fondants or filings on them. Even icing tends to push the limits but simple, like an Easy Banana Bundt Cake is always a hit.
Since I’m pretty much forced to keep my baking recipes simple in my kitchen, I enhanced a Pillsbury Purely Simple white cake mix in to an Easy Banana Cake recipe by adding additional eggs and banana flavored pudding in to the mix.
After the cake ingredients were mixed together, I poured the cake batter in to a bundt cake pan. I do love how this Pillsbury Purely Simple white cake mix contain no colors, preservatives, or artificial flavors and such a pretty package too!
While the cake was baking, I made an easy DIY Cake Plate Banner out of kraft paper washi tape, scrapbooking alphas and natural cord. I love how the cake banner looks strung on the cake stand too. Makes the cake look not so easy, right?
The Banana Bundt Cake is drizzled with a simple icing {again, there’s that word simple} and sprinkled with chocolate chips. Ya know, ’cause banana and chocolate go awesome together too!
Fresh banana slices and more chocolate chips on the side of the cake enhances the banana flavor even more. Yum!
This Banana Bundt Cake is so moist, easy to make and totally Yum! Simple or not, my family couldn’t wait for me to stop taking pictures of it so they could try it.
