Have you ever played with Sculpey Clay? It’s just fun medium to work with and the kiddos love it too. My daughter really loves to create with it too. I made this Halloween Clay Necklace out of Scultpey Clay and it also happened to be my project in Week 2 of, So You think You’re Crafty, Kids Can Do Theme. My Halloween Clay Necklace didn’t get the most votes this week but, I didn’t get voted off either. Week 3 theme is Paint, should be fun, so stay tuned!

Halloween Clay Necklace
A few weeks ago, I was digging through my craft stash cabinet {and I mean digging} when I pulled out a bin of Scupley Clay. Of course, when my artistic daughter saw the clay she immediately wanted to make something which sparked my idea of making Halloween Necklaces for the Kid Can Do theme.
Here’s my daughter happily creating Halloween shapes out of blocks of Sculpey clay using Sculpey Tools. She made all sorts of Halloween shapes too like candy corn, pumpkins, ghosts, tombstones and even a Witch hat.
When you’re happy with your Halloween shapes, poke a hole through the top of the clay if you intend on wearing them as a necklace. Follow the directions on the box for how to bake the clay.
After the Halloween Shapes were baked, we strung them on to a chain necklace.
Halloween Clay Necklaces are definitely a unique and fun craft to make and wear this Halloween.
