60th birthday gift

My Mom's 60th Birthday was a few days ago and since her gift has arrived safely to her, I can now share it on my blog.  My Mom reads my blog and of course is my biggest fan.  Awe! I always ho-hum about what to make for my Mom.  I've made her lots of stuff over the years (she's prob like...please, no more) but what Mother doesn't always love to receive unique, handmade gifts from her … [Read more...]

Spring Button Card

I'm starting to play around with my Silhouette some more.  So far, I've got the hang of ungrouping and using the offset feature.  I know, the Silhouette is capable of doing like a hundred more things but what I like the most about it is the precise cutting.  Like Butter! So, here's a Spring Button Card I made (by ungrouping & offsetting) using a Lori Whitlock file and embellished it with cheery … [Read more...]

Valentine CANDi Card

January 22, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 8 Comments

When I was at CHA last weekend,  I got to meet up with  Craftwork Cards (who came all the way from the UK too) and they gave me some more CANDi's goodies to play with for my design team posts.  I love all there CANDi's but there Sweethearts CANDi's are just a perfect addition to any Valentines Day project. I used my Silhouette to cut out the hearts from a Hero Arts file and found these CANDi … [Read more...]

Jinger Adams Bella Vita Bag made with Cricut

Today, I'm up as the featured designer for Jinger Adams.  Last weekend, I actually met Jinger at CHA and you can read all about my CHA Fun too. For my post today, I used Jinger's Bella Vita collection to embellish this heart treat bag.  Just like my previous design team post Gypsy Queen Love, I'm calling this post Bella Vita Love 'cause I loooove the embellishments that coordinate with this … [Read more...]
