Spring Button Card

April 2, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 10 Comments

I’m starting to play around with my Silhouette some more.  So far, I’ve got the hang of ungrouping and using the offset feature.  I know, the Silhouette is capable of doing like a hundred more things but what I like the most about it is the precise cutting.  Like Butter!So, here’s a Spring Button Card I made (by ungrouping & offsetting) using a Lori Whitlock file and embellished it with cheery Buttons Galore & More Spring Color Blend buttons.

Spring Button Card

   {this post contains affliate links}

I resorted to my trusty ‘ol Kraft paper as the base for this card {I heart Kraft}, matted it with some American Crafts chevron paper, wrapped green & pink twine around it, added green wire and stamped a sentiment from Pink By Design.

I know, such a simple Silhouette project.  Maybe, I’ll have to get a ‘lil wild and crazy and learn how to weld shapes together next. teehee.

    I love this card! It’s funny, I love cards with buttons and I rarely use them in my own cards. Weird! You’ve inspired me though to go through my stash (which is enormous) of buttons and make a card.

    Thanks for sharing over at the Pink Cricut.

    God bless and have a grateful day,
