Queen Bee Card

February 2, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 9 Comments

Sharing cute thank you card I sent off to a friend who really is a “Queen Bee”.  She’s busy, busy like a bee and seems to know all like a Queen.

Bee Card

Queen Bee Card

I wasn’t able to find the right bee cut I was looking for in the Silhouette store so I ended up resorting back to my trusty Cricut.  Old habits are hard to break.  I found the exact cut I was looking for from the Kate’s ABC cartridge.   I forgot how cute that cartridge is too.

I added some honeycomb embossing, pink crinkle ribbon, faux stitching and of course some bling to turn this bee into a real Queen.

You,re not “resorting”‘ lol!!! Look at that gorgeous bee cut! I find I use my Silhouette for the 3d items, intricate cuts and print and cut, but then I still stick with my Cricut for those great layered images! Super cute card, I like the pretty bee and the great embossing!
