You are my Sunshine Card

July 16, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 38 Comments

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey….I’ve sang this son to my kids for years.  My son’s 8 now and every once and while he’ll ask me to sing this song to him…sniff, sniff.

My love for this song inspired me to make a You are my Sunshine Card for the challenge this  week at Fantabulous Cricut .  We want to see your Cricut project that contains a sun.  Yep- that’s it, any sort of sun is all you’ll need to play along with us.

You are my Sunshine Card made with Cricut. Just add pretty yellow buttons in the center of a die cut Sun to brighten anyone's day.

{this post contains affliate links referencing products used}

You are my Sunshine Card

I embossed the card base with dots, cut the sun from the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge (yes- I had to blow the dust off that cart!)  added some cute yellow buttons and stamped a sentiment on the front.
You’ll never know dear how much I love you so please don’t take your sunshine away….

    I love your card, its so bright and cheery…the white base really sets off the sunshine yellow. You did such a wonderful job on making it. Kathie
