Easy Succulent Gift Idea with Printable

May 1, 2015 by Holly Gagnon 39 Comments

Succulents are the hot trend right now.  These cute lil’, hardy plants are a quick and easy  idea to give to Mom on Mother’s Day or to give as end of school year Teacher’s gifts.

Purchasing the succulents from the garden store was actually the hardest part of this whole project.  There are  just so many shapes, sizes and colors of succulents to to choose from!   Instead of re-potting the plant, I  wrapped a piece of burlap and twine around the pot and quickly made up a DIY graphic created with GraphicStock .

Using GraphicStock to make up this printable image totally saved myself the time and energy of creating my own design and it was really easy to make too.  I chose a Floral Frame graphic, saved it as a .png file, uploaded it into PicMonkey , added text to the graphic, saved the file as a photo and printed off.  Done!  Easy as that!

After I printed the  images off, I cut them out, matted them with scrapbooking paper and hot glued the image on to a wood skewer.

This Quick and  Easy Succulent Gift Idea with Printable is such a great idea for Teacher’s or Mom’s to make gift giving easier this year.
