Wood Photo Tray for Mom
I originally bought this serving tray with plans to decoupage silly photos of my kiddos on the bottom of it and use the tray to hold TV remotes. Well, not sure how it happened but the tray turned into a mixed media, altered piece that sure ain’t gonna be used to hold my TV remotes.
I purchased this wood tray at Hobby Lobby and painted it with DecoArt Acrylic and Metallics paints.
The tray is embellished with paper and stickers found the Echo Park Paper Times & Seasons 2 kit. I added a denim flower cut from a Tim Holtz tattered flower die, burlap pennants, adhesive pearls, twine and Maya Road stick pins.
This pic of my kids totally makes me laugh and when I saw the mustache element sticker in the Time & Seasons 2 kit, I knew it would be the perfect pun for this tray.
I hope this Wood Photo Tray idea inspires you to make something unique and creative for Mom this year.
