DIY Shabby Chic Candle Holder

March 9, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 13 Comments

Who’s up for easy, trendy and inexpensive home decor?  Me, Me!  Well, here’s a trendy Shabby Chic Candle Holder  project that uses Natural Hemp Cord from  Hemptique .

Shabby Chic Candle Holder

 My buddy Arin from A Piece of Life’s Pie and I were frolicking around CHA this past January and stumbled upon like the “only all guy” booth there, Hemptique.  Since Arin’s a Cali girl, she ended up having a few things in common with Dave from Hemtique® and BAM… yadda, yadda, yadda they sent us some Hemtique®  products to play with. {so fun!}

I took a large {clean} tuna fish can, wrapped it up with 20# Natural Hemp Cord using hot glue, added a candle, decorative rocks, pearls and adenim flower cut from a Tim Holtz Tattered Flower die.  Easy Peasy and C.U.T.E!

So start hoarding them empty cans so you can make your own trendy home decor!

    The denim flower was a good choice. Love the variation of denim color.
