Clipboard Picture Frame

May 2, 2015 by Holly Gagnon 40 Comments

A DIY Clipboard Picture Frame is a creative and simple way to display a favorite picture or Instagram photo.   Mother’s Day is coming up and us Mom’s always love a cute photo of our kiddos displayed especially displayed with  pretty paper and embellishments found in the Pebbles Inc Cottage Living collection.

The Pebbles Design Team is celebrating National Scrapbooking Day by having a Blog Hop with giveaways on each designers blog.  I’m not technically not a “scrapbooker”  but any project that includes a picture counts as Scrapbooking to me even if it’s just altering a mini clipboard with a photo and adding pretty embellishments.

Stenciled Gold Mist Clipboard made with @pebblesinc Cottage Living collection

To make this Clipboard Picture Frame, I sprayed a plain Mini Clipboard  with a light coat of  Gold Glitter Color Mist .  After it dried , I placed a Cottage Living Plastic Stencil  over the clipboard and  sprayed the gold mist again to make the pattern.

Puffy Stickers found in the @pebblesinc Cottage Living Collection

The photo is matted with Mint Gold Dot paper and embellished with Cottage Living Puffy Phrase Stickers.   Love puffy stickers, they take me back to being a kid again.

I then wrapped the clipboard with twine, adhered a pretty Cottage Living  Paper Flowers on to the front and added a black seam binding bow.

Super cute clip board picture frame. Love how you used the stencil and spray on it and the addition of the black and white twine.
