Have you ever been BOO’d before? It really is a fun idea and we’ve done it for a few years now. We left this Glow in the Dark BOO kit for friends who just moved in to a new house. Since they don’t know any one in their new neighborhood, they will absolutely have no clue who left it for them. ^cue creep music—-Bahahahahaha!
Our BOO It Forward kit this year was inspired by the new Ghostbusters® Movie available at Walmart.
Since we were going for a ghost themed BOO kit, I decided to make Glow in the Dark ghosts to adhere on the front of the bags. I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out a ghost shape with white card stock as well as a ghost using glow in the dark heat transfer vinyl. Your probably like what, HTV? Yes, you can transfer HTV on to paper just like you would do for fabric.
After I cut out the paper ghosts and glow in the dark HTV ghosts, I ironed the two pieces together following the same technique you would use on fabric. When the layers were adhered together, I just pulled off the plastic backing. That’s it, a glow in the dark ghost!
My Glow in the Dark BOO bundle is made up of some of my favorite goodies like Rice Krispies Treats®, SNICKERS® Fun Size and Starburst® & Skittles® Original Fun Size.
I used American Greetings® tissue paper and American Greetings® gift bags to make up the BOO bags. The Ghostbusters® inspired BOO bags were easy to assemble by adhering a glow in the dark ghost on the front, wrapping the bag with twine and a button and printing off a BOO’d Card .

Isn’t my Glow in the Dark Ghost so cool?
So here’s how you BOO someone:
- Make a BOO Bundle
- Download and Print off a BOO’d card
- Secretly Deliver it.
- BOO it Forward.
The kids really love the way our Glow in the Dark BOO kit turned out and they look forward to BOO’ing a few more friends soon.
