Fall Embroidery Hoop Mantel
If you’ve been following my blog over the last few months , you know that we moved in to a new home. I’m pretty much in love with our new house since it has all the potential of being a modern day farmhouse. Yippee! Like built ins, wood floors, wood staircase and of course, a fireplace. The fireplace make me totally giddy too since this is the first time I’ve ever been able to decorate a fireplace mantel. Oh boy, all the ideas!
Since it’s Fall and the perfect time to decorate a fireplace mantel, I chose to incorporate various sized embroidery hoops and candles in to my Fall Mantel. The large embroidery hoop was easy to decorate with burlap, buttons, raffia and fall leaves. Just place a piece of burlap inside the inner hoop then tighten the the two hoops together and trim off the excess burlap.
The colors of my Fall Embroidery Hoop Mantel was inspired by the Bountiful Harvest and Pumpkin Apple Harvest candles found in The American Home™ by Yankee Candle® collection. These candles smell amazing!
I dressed the candle jars up the a bit by placing smaller Embroidery Hoops around the jars wrapped with raffia.

What’s great about decorating with embroidery hoops is that it is a simple and inexpensive idea that cab be totally temporary too.
I absolute love candles and I’m not kidding when I say burning candles could be considered one of my favorite past times. Ha!
Yankee Candle has been my favorite for years. I’ve even been to their Flagship Store in Wilmington, VA. Yes, I do like Yankee Candles that much!
I’m totally love the way my first Fall Fireplace Mantel turned out! I’m really looking forward to decorating my fireplace mantel for other season too!

October 3, 2016 at 12:10 pmI have a mantel but it gets neglected in our SoCal condo- things are cramped so it’s not a focal point. I might take some inspiration from you and dress it up a little this year though! #client
