I do love me some Halloween Candy.  It’s really hard to resist grabbing a piece of candy  here and there especially since I have it adorably displayed  in DIY Halloween Candy Glitter Jars.

DIY Halloween Candy Glitter Jars

These Halloween Candy Glitter Jars are really easy to make and can be made a few ways.  All you need is empty glass jars in various sizes, glitter and adhesive of choice.    The hardest part about the whole project  is deciding how to glitter them up!

How to make Halloween Candy Glitter Jars with decoupage glue

For the tall glass jar, I adhere purple glitter using decoupage by brushing the decoupage glue on the jar then sprinkling glitter over it.

Another way to adhere glitter on to a glass jar is by using sticky dots.  Just stick  adhesive dots randomly on to a glass jar and sprinkle over with glitter.

How to make Halloween Candy Glitter Jars with double sided tape

A  third way to adhere glitter on to a glass jar is by using double sided tape.  For this technique, adhere double sided tape around a glass then, you guessed it,  sprinkle with glitter.

One thing I love about  candy in general is it always comes in fun themes and shapes and it’s great to use for decorating and photo props since seasonal candy candy be found in all sorts of shapes, flavors and colors.

Use a Scotch Lint Brush to clean up glitter while crafting. #StickItToLint

One thing about crafting with glitter is it’s totally messy.  Like glitter everywhere messy and that’s exactly why I always keep a Scotch-Brite™ Lint Roller on hand in my craft room.  Totally makes clean up quick and easy  from picking up all my small paper scraps, sewing threads, burlap frays and of course, glitter.
