I’ve been totally in love with faux Succulents lately. Recently, I received a huge box full gorgeous, faux succulents from FloraCraft® . OMGee , it was like the I had a succulent explosion in my house. They are now everywhere. Stuck in n pots, vases, crates, baskets. I just really like them. To continue with my love of faux succulents in to my Easter decor, I made a Easter Egg Succulent Egg Planter using a FloraCraft® Make It: Fun Foam Egg.

Totally adorable! Why would you ever want to use real succulents when these faux ones look so real?
To make the Easter Egg Succulent Egg Planter, I used a FloraCraft® Make It: Fun Foam Cutter to cut a 6″ Foam Egg around the crack lined I had sketched out around the center.
After the egg was cut out, I applied a couple of coats of FloraCraft® Make It: Fun Smooth Finish all over the egg.
After the smooth finish was dried, I used sandpaper to make the egg surface smooth.
When I was happy with the smooth finish of the egg, I painted the inside yellow, the outside a shade of pink then painted a gold stripe around the center.
To give the Easter Egg Succulent Egg Planter a little more dimension, I stuck white pearl stick pins around the gold band and on top of the egg. Kinda Fabergé like, right?
If you have never used these these FloraCraft®Succulents Picks you must get some. The faux succulents look so real and were really easy to work with too.
This Easter Egg Succulent Planter is a simple Spring craft idea that can be easily made to coordinate with any Easter decor.

April 26, 2020 at 12:04 pmRemember how I teased yesterday that I had some amazing projects coming up? Well, today is one that I am especially in love with. I mean how can you go wrong with pops of color, gold, marble, and succulents? I just don t think that it s possible! And, to top it off, these little planters are made with plastic Easter eggs and cost under $0.50 to make! What?! Seriously, how does it get any better?
