Most of us love a good Farmhouse Pallet Sign. A Pallet Wall project has been on my “To Do” list like 4 -evah now. I have so many ideas crowding my brain about what to make that I can’t seem to narrow it down. I finally took the plunge and {may or may not of dumpster dived old pallets out of my neighbor’s trash} to create my first DIY Mason Jar Pallet Sign project using the Pebbles Inc Cottage Living collection.

DIY Mason Jar Pallet Sign
I broke apart some old pallets a few weeks ago and yes, they were part of my neighbor’s garbage. They had moved out and left a pile of garbage for pick up. My eyes were dead set on those pallets. I even ask someone if I could have them. I don’t think the person I asked spoke English but a nod works for me, so off I went dragging heavy pallets down the sidewalk to my garage.
And after a little bit of a workout breaking down the pallets, someone else’s trash is someone else’s treasure! I cut the boards to the size I wanted using a jigsaw then attached the boards together using Gorilla Glue. No nail gun for me, Gorilla glue works great!
Instead of painting words or an image on my Pallet, I decided to use my Silhouette Cameo and cut out an Echo Park Paper DIY Mason Jar cut file using some gorgeous Gold Honeycomb paper found in the Cottage Living collection.
I added Cottage Living Paper Flowers on to the corner of the jar and layered Large Gold and Black Alpha Stickers on the front.
So in love with my first DY Mason Jar Pallet Sign. It literally is a DIY sign, letters and all. Moral: Nothing wrong with turning neighborhood trash in to treasure and luckily, I now have a bunch of pallet wood left over for more projects to create with. Watch out, my house may start to look like an old barn inside.
