Here’s a quick Metal Clip Makeover Teacher’s Gift  idea for all you last minute people out there.  Don’t worry, I’m including myself in that statement too.    I’ve learned over the years that  Teachers can never have enough school supplies.  Sometimes the simplest school supply is a coveted item, even staples and Metal Clips.

So, to show my kids teachers appreciation for all their hard work,  I turned an ordinary office supply item into cute metal clips using the   Pebbles Garden Party paper.
I’m not exaggerating when I say last minute teacher gift idea.  I’ve learned a long time ago that I’m the queen of procrastination and some of my best ideas always come to me at the last minute.   Like cover black metal clips with cute scrapbooking paper and toss them in a pretty bag…done!

Quick ans Simple DIY Metal Clip Makeover with scrapbooking paper
I picked up a couple of packages of black metal clips  from the Dollar Store, measured and trimmed out paper to adhered on to the clips.  I found hot glue works the best to securely keep the paper on the clip since this item will be used frequently.

I tossed the metal clips into clear bags and topped them off with coordinating Garden Party patterned paper, stickers and cardstock shapes.
