After sitting though Open House at my kids school, one item that every teacher can never have enough of besides copy paper is tissues. All those little runny noses need to be wiped with something besides clothing, right? Yuck! Since I also refuse to give practical, boring items that aren’t a little bit cute, my tissue donations came in this cute Classroom Tissue Box for the Teacher’s Desk.

Teachers really do appreciate gifts anytime of the year. Anything practical like tissues, Post-It notes, school supplies and gift cards are always a win. Not so much coffee mugs. Tissues are always well loved and definitely used by all. Shouldn’t they at least be cute?
To make this Classroom Tissue Box, I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out the various layers of a 3D Teacher Tissue Box cut file.
After the tissue box was assembled, I adhered the apple die cut on the front and embellished the box with yellow ribbon, a red button and bakers twine.
What teacher wouldn’t love to have this unique and cute tissue box displayed on their desk? Or maybe your teacher may like this Ruler Wreath. Either way, your kid may get extra brownie points since it was sooo very thoughtful too.
