Christmas Ornament Paper Cone Wreath

November 30, 2011 by Holly Gagnon 27 Comments

I just love the look of  Paper Cone Wreaths these days.   Big, bold and makes a statement!  I made my first Paper Cone Wreath  back in the Fall and I liked it so much, I decided to make a Christmas Ornament Paper Cone Wreath with red ornaments in the center.   It really does make a beautiful Holiday Statement don’t ya think?

Christmas Ornament Paper Cone Wreath

To make the Paper Cone Wreath, I cut  Martha Stewart Christmas Paper in to 6 x 6 inch paper squares, rolled and hot glued the paper squares  in to cones to use as the outer layer of the wreath.  The inside layer is, are smaller squares of paper cut at 4 x 4 inches.

If you are totally confused, just follow my  step by step picture  tutorial on how to make  Paper Cone Wreath  .

Christmas Ornament Paper Cone Wreath. Roll Christmas paper into cones, hot glue on wreath form and add red ornaments in center.

After my paper cone layers were all in place, I hot glue red ornaments in the center.  I really love the simple idea of  the red ornaments in the center and it provides  a lot of festive Holiday Shine without costing a fortune.  I think my  Christmas Ornament Paper Cone Wreath really did turn out gorgeous!

Visiting from Decorate to Celebrate. The rolled paper wreath is bee-utiful & the red ornaments do give it impact. I bought a glue gun today at Hobby Lobby. It is a Hobby Lobby brand that is a Hot Temp that has a base & a precision tip. I’m going to try it out tomorrow. What kind of glue gun did you use? Salesperson said that if I do not like the glue gun then I can return it for full refund with receipt.
