If you hoard paper like me, bets are you tend to keep all shapes and sizes of scraps even if you know you won’t ever use them…evah! You never know if you might just need that one lil’ piece. I know it’s highly unlikely and changes are you will pretty much forget about ever using it but keeping all my pretty srapbooking paper scraps inspired me to make these cute Whimsical Pencil Toppers so it’s totally a Win-Win!

Whimsical Pencil Toppers
Pencil toppers are always a fun and simple gift to make. A nice way to brighten up a desk, make for a Teacher or bring in some office cheer. Much cuter than the duct tape wrapped pens some cashier’s use at the register to keep the peeps from running off with their pens. I used to be a cashier, I totally understand this dilemma.
To make the whimsical pencil toppers, I cut out pennant shaped flags out of various pieces of scrap paper I had stashed then ran them threw my little purple Xyron then wrapped them around the pencil. Super easy and quick!
The Whimsical Pencil Toppers and jar are embellished with Pebbles From Me to You Stickers and Crystal Candy Dots. Moral of the story, don’t throw any thing out! Well really don’t throw pretty scrap pieces of scrapbooking paper out period.
