Video Game Decor

February 27, 2014 by Holly Gagnon 20 Comments

Got Gamer’s in your house?  I do.  My son doesn’t have an interest in sports but sure has a big interest in video games.   Inspired by Echo Park’s That’s My Boy kit from Lori Whitlock,  I made this Video Game Decor just for my lil’ Gamer.

This project was made for Echo Park’s Winter CHA booth.  First time having a project displayed at CHA- yep, kinda cool.  My Gamer was a little worried that this awesome project his mom made for him was gonna get ruined too.  The project arrived safe and sound there and back and now can be shared with you and his room.

I painted an 8×8 canvas with DecoArt paints, cut a Get Your Game On  phrase from a Kolette Hall cut file and embellished the canvas with That’s My Boy element stickers and 20 gauge black wire.

That’s My Boy kit contains just what lil’ boys love the most sports, rockets and video games.   My son is also a Minecraft freak, what kid isn’t nowadays.  Check out his party, Minecraft Style.

Wanna win a Echo Park That’s My Boy kit??

Congrats to whoever won! I looked for a name but couldn’t find it, I didn’t get an email or anything, so I don’t think it was me, but whoever you are, I hope you have fun and enjoy this!
