Snow Angel Ornaments

December 6, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 18 Comments

These pretty Snow Angel Ornaments are an inexpensive Christmas ornament idea to decorate your tree, give as an unique gift or even embellish a package with.

I’m a total sucker for $1 wood crafts.   Seriously, I’m always snatching those suckers up which usually turns my dollar into like $20.   That’s where I found these wood angels and turned them into pretty  Snow Angel Ornaments  for Christmas using DecoArt products, buttons and May Arts ribbon.

Supplies used to make Snow Angel Ornaments

Each wood angel is painted white, paint,  made sparkly with glamour dust and wrapped with pretty May Arts Ribbon.

To give my angels a lil’ sparkle, I sprinkled Glamour Dust onto the wings while the paint was still wet. The glitter really adds a nice touch I think.

I also added a DIY glitter button on to one of the Angel Ornaments.

How to make DIY Glitter buttons with decoupage and glitter powder

To add a little sparkle on to my Christmas Ornaments, I made glitter buttons.

  • Apply DecoArt Decou-Page on to button.
  • Sprinkle DecoArt Glamour Dust over button.
  • Shake off excess glitter, let dry.
  • Hot glue glitter button on to bow.

DiY Snow Angel Ornaments. Easy Christmas Craft made from natural wood angle painted with glitter paint and embellished with buttons and pretty ribbon.

Love how pretty my Snow Angel Ornaments turned out!   I definitely  wanna grab a few more of these natural wood angels to use for ornament changes.

These are cute angels. I am going to have to look for some naked angels next time I am at the store.
