Popcorn Box Ghosts

September 30, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 29 Comments

Basically, creating these Pop Corn Box Ghosts when down like this.   Laura Kelly had a brilliant idea for a craft challenge to send creators and makers a plain popcorn box to do as they wish.  And somehow,  I came up with the idea of turning my box in to cute Ghosts and I couldn’t be happier.

I really did  hum and haw over what to make outta my plain popcorn  box.  I turned it upside down, thought up random ideas and crossed my fingers that I wouldn’t make a craft bomb since I only had ONE box to work with.   So, I held my breath, busted out the scissors and cut the box into ghost shapes.

Such and easy craft! Painted popcorn boxes turned into Ghosts.

1. Cut 2. Trim  3. Paint  4. Easy Peasy

After the paint dried, I inked the edges using black stamping ink, adhered google eyes , a few buttons then adhered Pebbles Thirty One Chalkboard Stickers on both sides.

Aren’t those  Pebbles Chalkboard Stickers great?!  I really do think my Popcorn Box Ghosts turned out super spooky cute and a totally out of the Popcorn Box idea.

This is seriously my favorite one in the challenge. I would never have thought to cut the box apart into something else. Too too cute…the google eyes especially make the whole thing extra adorable.
