Button Flower Pot Card

April 15, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 24 Comments

We’ve got a fun challenge for you this week at The Paper Variety.  We want to see you “Scraplift” any project that any our design team members have created since January. There are 10 of us on TPV design team that bring you two challenges a month along with a tutorial.  Yep- get those creative juices flowing because we’ve given you lots of inspiring ideas and we’d just love to see them lifted!

.
For this challenge I made a flower pot card inspired and “scraplifted” by Sandi’s Button Flower Tutorial.   I hoard have jars and jars of buttons so I knew these Button Flowers would be perfect to addition to my card.
Flower Pot Button Card made with Cricut
The base flowers are cut and layered from George and the Flower Shoppe cartridges. I used a 1.5″ scallop circle cut from Alphalicious for the base of the flower button and the leaves are cut from Doodlecharms.
I’m so happy the way these flowers turned out, I think I’ve got a Mother’s Day card already finished!

As you already know, these ladies on TPV are super talented and they’ve given me so many ideas over the past few months.  I’ve actually made 4 other projects (make this 5 now) using there tutorial’s. Yep- they do inspire!
Here’s are some of the projects I’ve made thanks to the inspiration and tutorials from my fellow design team members:
Sara’s Glimmer Mist
Suzanne’s Faux Paper Lace
Marcia’s Debossing
Abby’s Shaped Cards
