Naughty List Christmas Shirt

December 4, 2016 by Holly Gagnon 2 Comments

Are you on Santa’s Naughty of Nice List?  I’m not really on Santa’s Naughty list, well not that I know of,  I just really liked this cut file and thought it would look super cute on front of a Christmas  T-Shirt.

I used my Silhouette CAMEO and heat transfer vinyl from Pro World Inc to make this Naughty Christmas List Shirt.   Pro World is also giving away a Trans Pro Mini Heat Press!  If you make a lot of customized t-shirt with heat transfer vinyl, a heat press is totally your BFF!

When I make shirts that require different color vinyl, I first size and print the image on to copy paper to see how it will look on the shirt.
When I am happy with the size, I  mirror the image, un-group each word then arrange them on the cutting mat so I will not waste any vinyl.
After the vinyl words are cut out, I use the photo copy as a template to  line the words up so my fonts will be straight and centered.

My little trick works great, huh?  It’s just so painful to waste precious vinyl with all those negative areas in between words.

The Christmas Naughty List Shirt is made with green and red  Siser Strip Flocked Heat Transfer Vinyl and Black Siser EasyWeed.  This was my first time using flocked heat transfer vinyl.  I loved it too!
Cuts great and transfers well so I’m not sure why I’ve been intimidated to use before.

I love how my Christmas Naughty List Shirt turned out.  Now , I just have to remember to wear the shirt.  Christmas will pass and I’ll find this shirt hanging in my closet and I’ll be like, darn it!   I forgot to wear my  Naughty List Shirt this year!  Unfortunately, this happens often.  Outta sight, outta mind forgetfulness..
Now it’t your turn to enter for a chance to win a Trans Pro Mini Heat Press from Pro World Inc.
A winner will be randomly selected and contacted on 12/12 via the social channel that they won from. The winner will have 24 hours to claim their prize. At that time Pro World will mail the heat press to the winner so that they can start crafting! In order to win the heat press you must be 18 years or older and live within the United States.
