Cute Holiday Snowman

November 25, 2016 by Holly Gagnon 1 Comment

Do you wanna build a Snowman?  Ha, now you’re gonna have that darn song stuck in your head.  My Cute Holiday Snowman looks nothing like the Snowman from Frozen anyways.  My cute Snowman is a traditional Frosty with a top hat, carrot nose and button all down the front.

Cute Holiday Snowman

This Holiday Snowman was inspired but the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun , 2016 Holiday E-Book.  FloraCraft encouraged us team members to recreate something from of their Holiday book.  Since I was inspired by a few projects in the book, I incorporated them together and Voila,  Frosty the Snowman was born!

How to make a snowman out of foam balls

Supplies used to to make a Holiday Snowman:

One- 6 inch, 5 inch and 4 inch FloraCraft® Make It: Fun  Foam Ball
FloraCraft® Make It: Fun  StyroGlue
FloraCraft® Make It: Fun  Foam Cutter

Using the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun  Foam Cutter, slice off the top and bottom of the balls to make them flat so they will be able to stack together.

Then, using FloraCraft® Make It: Fun StyroGlue, adhere the 3 foam balls together and let dry.

Now for the fun part, decorating the Snowman.  I decided to go all Traditional Frosty for this guy.    I brushed white, glitter paint lightly over the foam balls to make him shine a bit then used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out a top hat using black paper.  My  daughter made a carrot nose out of Sculpey Clay and I used scrapbooking embellishment dots for the eyes and mouth

And of course, every Snowman needs a scarf, black buttons down the front and tree sticks for arms.

Isn’t he such a Cute Holiday Snowman?  OK, maybe handsome but I think he turned out great and I hope this project inspires you to make your own Holiday Snowman and check out the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun , 2016 Holiday E-Book. for more Holiday inspiration.

This post is written as part of the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun  design team.  All opinions are my own.
