This project is part of Craft Lightning Holiday edition where you can finds lots of creative holiday themed crafts that can be made in 15 minutes or less!
I have a huge soft spot for handmade items made with pretty paper. I do own all the fancy die cutting machines but a lot of pretty papercraft projects can be made without a die cutting machine byusing just a few simple paper crafting tools.
How to make a Gift Box Bag:
- Cut a piece of scrapbooking paper at 12 x 5 inches .
- Cut another piece of paper at 4 1/2 long x 3 inches wide to use as the bottom box of the bag.
- Using a score board, score each side of the box bottom piece at 1/2 inches
- Fold up the scored edges and adhere corners together turning it in to a small box.
- Adhere tape along the edge and side of the 12 x 5 inch paper.
- Adhere the bottom box on to the paper starting at corner, rolling the paper around the box.
- Punch a hole in the top of Box Bag.
- Fill with treats and tie together with ribbon.
Now, embellish your Box Bag with holiday stickers, buttons and gift tags. The sky is the limit on how to decorate these bags for any occasion too.
