Have a bunch of pretty Christmas Scrapbooking paper you want to use up?  These easy Gift Box Bags are a great way to use that pretty paper to make a perfect sized gift bag for  for those little holiday gifts or treats.

 

All you need to make this Easy Gift Box Bag is scrapbooking paper and a score board. Perfect little box bag to fill up with Holiday treats.

This project is part of Craft Lightning Holiday edition where you can finds lots of creative holiday themed crafts that can be made in 15 minutes or less!

I have a huge soft spot for handmade items made with pretty paper.  I do own all the fancy die cutting machines but a lot of pretty papercraft projects can be made without a die cutting machine byusing  just a few simple paper crafting tools.
How to make a Holiday Gift Box Bag out of scrapbooking paper and a score board.

How to make a Gift Box Bag:

  • Cut a piece of scrapbooking paper at  12 x 5 inches .
  • Cut another piece of paper at 4 1/2 long x 3 inches wide to use as the bottom box of the bag.

  • Using a score board, score each side of the box bottom piece at 1/2 inches

  • Fold up the scored edges and adhere corners together turning it in to a small box.

  • Adhere  tape along the edge and side of the 12 x 5 inch paper.
  • Adhere the bottom box on to the paper starting at corner, rolling the paper around the box.

  • Punch a hole in the top of Box Bag.
  • Fill with treats and tie together with ribbon.

All you need to make this Easy Gift Box Bag is scrapbooking paper and a score board. Perfect little box bag to fill up with Holiday treats.

Now, embellish your Box Bag with holiday stickers, buttons and gift tags. The sky is the limit on how to decorate these bags for any occasion too.

    Is it better to have the seam at a corner or in the middle of the back of the bag?
