Jellybean Easter Party

March 28, 2019 by Holly Gagnon 7 Comments

Do you have Easter traditions in your house?  We’ve always created a fun scavenger hunt for our family to  find their Easter Baskets with each clue stuck inside a plastic egg full of  magical Jellybeans that leads  them on to the next clue.  This year, I did something extra and threw a full blown Jellybean Party for my family which included a Jellybean Tree, Jellybean Dessert Pizza and magical Jellybean Seeds.

I love Easter Candy!  Easter Candy to me pretty much means chocolate and Jellybeans. I love how Jellybeans come in a variety of flavors and colors and are the perfect little candy to eat and decorate with for Easter with too.

Simple Sugar Cookie recipe to make a Dessert Pizza with

Since most parties includes pizza and since this was a Jellybean party, I decided to make a Jellybean Desert Pizza.  The pizza dough is made of a simple Sugar Cookie recipe.  I really like this recipe since it easy to make and doesn’t require refrigeration before baking.

After the dough was made, I rolled it on to a pizza pan to bake.   You will only need about half of the dough to make the Jellybean Dessert Pizza crust.

Hot glue Jellybeans on to tree branches to make Jellybean Trees. Easy Easter Craft decorating idea.

While the dough was baking,  I made decorations for our Jellybean Party by hot gluing  Jellybeans  on to tree branches that I had previously  spray painted white.

Now on to the fun part, frost and decorating the Jellybean Dessert Pizza!   I kept it simple by just using store bought frosting .

After  the Jellybean Dessert Pizza is decorated,  slice it up and enjoy!

Did you know that Jellybeans can also be magical?  If you plant Jellybeans Seeds on Easter Eve, Lollipops grow.   They Do! This fun lil’ tradition has been happening for  years in my house.  Even though my kids are grown, its actually a memory they still talk about and look forward to doing every year.

Jelly Bean Soil

To make your Jellybeans magical, you first need to believe in magic. Then, plant your magical Jellybeans in potting soil and if the Easter Bunny { remembers to} sprinkles his magic on Easter morning…… Lollipops will grow!
