Do you decorate your house with any beachy, Summer themed decor? I always like to add a lil’ bit of Summertime Nautical flare in to my house of course, never mind the fact that I live in the desert, hundreds of miles from a beach shore. I did though, grow up near the beach and like most things, you just don’t appreciate it till it’s gone. So , to reminisce about growing up near the sun, surf and sand, I made a Nautical Beach Collage using the Pebbles Inc Fun in the Sun collection.

Nautical Beach Collage
Totally cute, huh? I’m not sure if it’s the adorable cardstock shapes or the braided rope? Either one, this whole Nautical project was really easy to make.
I painted a wood circle with Americana Chalky Finish Paint to use as the base of the collage then used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out layered circles from patterned paper and randomly layered Fun in the Sun Die Cut Shapes and Puffy Stickers around the circle base.
Hello- cute Puffy Stickers! Totally reminds me of when I was 8 years old trading puffy stickers with my pals.
To add some more Nautical flair on to the collage, I hot glued Hemptique braided rope around the wood base. I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been hoarding this braided rope. I have to admit, it was sorta hard hot gluing on to the wood.
To add some dimension into the collage, I adhered foam dots under some of the cardstock shapes to make the die cuts pop.
This Nautical Beach Collage using the Pebbles Inc Fun in the Sun collection is an easy project idea to add a lil’ but of beachy, Summertime fun into your home decor.
