Baby Shower Diaper Invitations

April 13, 2016 by Holly Gagnon 93 Comments

I haven’t been to a Baby Shower in years but if I do happen to host one anytime soon, these sweet lil’  Baby Shower Diaper Invitations made out of felt are on my list to make for the Mamma to Be!

Baby Shower Felt Diaper Invitations made with a die and Silhouette. Such a unique Baby Shower Invitation idea.

{this post contains affliate links referencing products used}

These Baby Shower Felt Diaper Invitations were made from a Diaper Card Die that Top Dog Dies sent me to create with.   Since I don’t have a real baby shower to host,  I decided to host my own {pretend} Baby Shower and make pocket card Baby Shower invites which are held inside Felt Diapers. Precious, huh?  I couldn’t decide if I should make baby girl or boy invites so I just made one of each since they are way cute and can be embellished differently.

Baby Shower Diaper Invitations made with metal die

Baby Shower Diaper Die cut with felt

To make the Felt Diapers I used my Sizzix Big Shot, white felt and a  Diaper Card Die to cut out the felt using the Diaper Die.

After the Felt Diapers were cut out, I hot glued the ends together, stitched zig-zag stitching around the edges and adhered cute baby buttons and twine on the front.

I used my Silhouette Studio  to create my own personalized Print & Cut Pocket Card Invitations using Echo Park Paper Splendid Sunshine papers.

Diaper Baby Invitations

In Silhouette Studio, I typed up  the Baby Shower information then printed it off on white cardstock  and adhered it on to patterned paper.  The Mother to Be shape was from another Top Dog die set that I ran through my Big Shot.

The pocket card measures at 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches and insert  inside the Felt Diapers and are also the perfect size to be kept as Project Life cards.

I think these Baby Shower Diaper Invitations turned out just darling and are such a unique way to show love to the Mommy to Be!    Wish I had a real Baby Shower to host now!

    I used this die to make three mini-albums for baby showers. Everybody thought they were wonderful. Cutting is easy, it’s the embellishing that is so hard. So glad we’ve got such fun dies.
