DIY Christmas Monogram
I made this Christmas Monogram as part of a Craft Lightning- Holiday Edition roundup that’s been going on this week. Basically, it’s a roundup of simple holiday crafts to get your creativity flowing and take less than 15 minutes to create. Sounds good, huh?
- Choose a wood letter
- Paint with DecoArt Metallics Paint. I apply two coats of paint, the drying time is quick.
- Cut out Holly Leaves with card stock either by using a die cutting machine or template.
- Emboss Holly leaves with a swirl folder, ink edges.
You could also use faux Holly leaves if you didn’t want to use paper.
- Adhere layered Holly leaves on to Monogram.
- Adhere a cluster of red Button Galore buttons as Holly berries.
Supplies Used to make Christmas Monogram:
- Wood Letter
- DecoArt Metallics Paint, Champagne
- Pebbles Basics Paper, Green Gingham
- American Crafts Cardstock
- Buttons Galore & More Buttons, Classic Red
- Colorbox Ink
- Sizzix Swirls Embossing Folder
