I’m sorta a homebody. I like being home. My kids don’t mind staying home either as well as my husband. Of course, we do get out and do plenty of fun things, but we do like to stay home together as a family. Proof that peeps like us, who live in 24 hour city {Vegas} like to stay home.
Jen outdid herself with this collection. Just love he sparkle found throughout. Lots of gold. I‘ve always been more of a silver fan than gold though. The last piece of gold jewelry I purchased was my High School class ring. For realz. Not to date myself, that was over 23 years ago.
So, maybe my tastes have changed, I’ve become more sophisticated with age or maybe it’s ’cause hubs is always going on about how we need to by gold as an investment, I think I’m a fan of gold again.
The memory tray is lined with Gold Stripe specialty paper found in the the Home + Made collection and the top of the portion of tray is filled with handmade spiral flowers cut from a Samantha Walker Flower Spiral Peony Bud cut file.
Basically, I’m impatient with paint drying. I spray painted the tray with a few coats of gold then thought it was gold overload {I’m still taking baby steps with the gold} and decided to paint the edges of the house with Americana Chalky Finish Paint. Obviously, the gold spray paint wasn’t quite dry since it caused my chalky paint to crack. Oh Serendipity, how I love you!
