Who's up for playing a creative game of Tic Tac Toe?  If you said "I am, I am" then come play along with the new challenge at The Paper Variety this week.  I chose to go vertical on my Tic-Tac Toe board making a Lucky Charm Card.   {This post contains affiliate links referencing products used}  For my game board, I chose to use the last column and go vertical by making a card, adding a … [Read more...]

Mermaid Card made with paper tearing and chalking

Here's a simple tutorial  on paper tearing and chalking techniques.  I actually learned this paper tearing technique from a scrapbooking demonstration that I attended on a Royal Caribbean Cruise years ago.   The chalking was something else I've learned on my own.  What a great vacation, huh?  Sun, food and scrapping! {This post contains affliate links referencing products … [Read more...]

I've yet to see this movie but I did a google search and read it was set in Ireland. That sparked my first idea of a St. Patrick's Day project then a few … [Read more...]

Red Hot Love Valentines Card

This week for Challenge # 72 at Cooking with Cricut we want to see you create a Grown Up Valentine's project using black and brads.    Red Hot Love sounds pretty grown up to me, right?   This Red Hot Love Card is made with the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge. I made this card even more "RED HOT" by adding a zebra print brad, rhinestones, red glitter, swirl embossing and tying it all … [Read more...]

Batman Birthday Card

January 28, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 22 Comments

I made this Batman Birthday Card for a little friend who is turning 3 soon.  Three is such a fun age and this little guy is totally into Super Hero's.... POW! It was a little  hard for me to keep this as a simple boy card.  I didn't think ribbons, buttons or glitter would go over to well for Batman so I just added some black adhesive brads.  Kind of reminds me of rivets you may see around a … [Read more...]
