Lucky Charm Card

March 1, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 29 Comments

Who’s up for playing a creative game of Tic Tac Toe?  If you said “I am, I am” then come play along with the new challenge at The Paper Variety this week.  I chose to go vertical on my Tic-Tac Toe board making a Lucky Charm Card.

Lucky Charm Card St Patrick's Day Card

{This post contains affiliate links referencing products used}

For my game board, I chose to use the last column and go vertical by making a card, adding a die cut and use heat embossing powder.

Tic Tac Toe Scrapbooking Challenge
Here’s what I used to make this lucky card:

Kraft Paper
Cricut Art Philosophy
Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up
Crystal embossing powder
Heat Tool Gun
Embellishments- button, twine & green gems
Lucky Sentiment

Use heat embossing powder to add a unique detail on to die cuts.
I added pop-dot behind the embossed shamrock so it could pop through the front card layer. I just love this Art Philosophy cartridge, so many neat card cutting options.
Thanks for looking and we look forward to you linking up with TPV!

    This is really cute! I love the framed shamrock, faux stitching and twine! Super card! One thing you’ll need to change to be eligible for the prizes this week is your link and challenge theme. This week at Party Time Tuesdays our challenge is “End of the rainbow…bling!” Your card certainly fits that theme but you just need to make sure your blog link goes to this week’s challenge and not last week’s anything goes. Thanks so much for playing! Hope we see you again next week.
