Big Yellow School Bus Tag

August 13, 2011 by Holly Gagnon 24 Comments

Most kids and parents are nervous about sending their littles off to school especially when those littles want to ride the big yellow school bus home.   My son is obsessed with the Yellow School Bus and insist on riding it home from Kindergarten.  I only agree to this {crazy} idea since a teacher will physically walk him on the bus ramp and put him on the correct bus and the bus actually has only one stop on it’s route, our neighborhood.  Ok, the idea of not having to deal with the parent pick up line is kinda nice too.

So, I made my lil’ guy a Ride the Bus Tag  as a reminder for my him on the days  when he needs to ride the big yellow bus home from school.

chool Bus Tag made with cricut

{this post contains affliate links}
The tag is cut from Cricut Tags, Bags & Boxes cartridge and the school bus  is  cut from Cricut  Locker Talk.     I made the school bus last year for another project , most likely for my son’s obsession with the big yellow school bus but ,never did use it but now it fit’s perfectly onto this tag.    It’s also a great idea to use as bookmark for any big ywllow school bus lovin’ kid.

    This is such a great idea. That was always a big concern of mine..that my little one would forget what bus to get on. They have so much other stuff to remember when they first get back to school that it can be a bit overwhelming. Thank you for joining in at Whimsical Wednesdays.

    This is absolutely adorable! More importantly, it’s a fabulous idea! :o) Such a smart mom. :o) You decorated it so wonderfully… cheerful and vibrant. I hope the ribbon stays put, too! I also like how it doubles as a bookmark. Excellent job! Thank you so much for playing along with us at Whimsical Wednesdays! :o)
