Time for another fun and unique Popcorn Box challenge hosted by the talented Laura Kelly. I had the privilege of playing along with Laura’s challenge last year and turned a Popcorn Box into Ghosts. This year, I was inspired to turn a Popcorn Box into a Pumpkin Tealight Holder.

I always tend to over think when I play along with craft challenges. To many idea of what to create. This year I kept it simple by making a tealight holder.
To make the Pumpkin face, I cut out a template to trace and cut using a Silhouette Jack-O-Lantern cut file and my Silhouette CAMEO.
Then, I spray painted the box with Rust-Oleum orange spray paint.
I embellished the Pumpkin with a stem, leaves, curled wire, a wood button and twine.
Cute, huh? Great idea to welcome the Trick Or Treaters to the door on Halloween night.

October 27, 2014 at 1:42 pmThis is totally cute. I love his wonky teeth, and the button and twine. I always tend to overthink things too, it’s good to keep it simple sometimes, and I like that this project can be made quite quickly. Thanks! x
