My daughter has always had a love for Panda’s. Her favorite restaurant just happens to be Panda Bear Express. Not Panda Express, it’s Panda Bear Express to her. Since she loves little surprises, I thought it would fun to make Panda Bear Cereal Boxes for her and her friends during one of their sleepovers full of Post Kung Fu Panda Cereal.

Kids love cereal anytime of the day and it definitely doesn’t have to be only a breakfast only food. My kids prefer to eat their cereal dry or pretty much eat it as a snack anytime of the day. So with my daughter’s love for Panda Bears, Kung Fu Panda Cereal was obviously the perfect food to fill up these Panda Bear Cereal Boxes with.
The Panda Boxes are made with my SilhouetteCAMEO and a Panda Belly Box cut file. Since this cut file contained many pieces, I like to cut out all the pieces first then assemble them together.
I embossed the feet of the bear to provide some dimension using a dots embossing folder and the Sizzix Texture Boutique.
The boxes were easy to assemble and I personalized each box with different colors bows.
After I assembled the Panda Bear Boxes, I scooped the Kung Fu Panda Cereal to baggies and tied them with twine.
For an little extra touch of cuteness, I stuck bamboo paper straws inside each Panda Bear Cereal Boxes.
My daughter and her friends loved the Panda Bear Cereal Boxes and it was totally a fun way to make breakfast snack food fun.

April 26, 2017 at 9:06 pmHi what is a cut file and what type of store can I find it at?

April 26, 2017 at 10:34 pmHi Theresa. This panda box was cut using a Silhouette die cutting machine and a cut file that I purchased in the Silhouette store. You would have to have a die cutting machine in order to make this but may possibly be able to make something similar by hand cutting the panda out of scrapbooking paper. Hope that helps. Holly
