Milk Carton Treat Box

June 13, 2013 by Holly Gagnon 8 Comments

I’m up over on the Jinger Adams blog today sharing with you a fun project inspired by the orange coordinating Washi Tape in the  Sweet Tart Collection.

Washi Tape is just plain fun to play with and I’ve been wanting to stick this cute orange tape on or around something ever since I received it and this Milk Carton Treat Box turned out to be perfect.

Milk Carton Treat Box made with @silhouettepins. Perfect Summertime Gift!

{this post contains affliate links}

I used a Milk Carton Box cut file from Lori Whitlock but since it’s Summertime, the carton totally reminds me of a Minute Maid  Lemonade or Orange Juice carton.  Like the kind you get when you order a breakfast combo at a drive thru…ya know, like Burger King’s Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant combo.

Jinger Adams Sweet Tart Collection contains some really cute citrus themed paper so I decided to wrap the coordinating Washi Tape around the carton, cut out a lemon cut from a Dear Lizzy Lemon cut file and stamped a sentiment.

Lemon Box Cut File

Since I was going with the juice carton them, I added a fun paper straw to complete my Summertime treat container.

So, when life hands you lemons made a cute box!

    Super cute and summery! I have a milk carton cut on one of my Cricut carts and never thought of doing it with a pattern. I’ll have to try that. Thanks for the inspiration.
