DIY Patriotic Rag Wreath
{This post contains affliate links referencing products used}
The only supplies you need to make this Patriotic Rag Wreath is a wreath form and fabric strips, for realz, that’s it. There’s no sewing, no hot gluing, just time spent wrapping is all that is requires to make this type of wreath.
How to make a Rag Wreath
. For the base of the wreath, I used a dollar store wicker wreath I had laying around which I’d previously spray painted white for another project but basically, any type of circular wreath will do. The fabric is from Laura Kelly’s America the Beautiful fabric which are cut in to strips approx 1 x 10 inches long then tied in to a knot on the wreath. That’s it! It’s really is that simple. You may need to fluff a lil’ here and there and snip some ends of the rags until you’re happy with the way it looks.

June 14, 2013 at 10:12 amWow! That is one neat and beautiful patriotic rag wreath you did. I love the colors you chose and all the other materials you used. You totally nailed this one. Grosgrain ribbons really look nice but is it okay if i use other kinds of ribbon for this?
