I love decorating our fireplace mantel for any holiday especially Christmas time.  I’ve never had a mantel to decorate till we moved in to this house last year so  I never had a need for matching Christmas stockings.

Last year, I scored these plaid stockings at a Target during an after  Christmas sale.  I had to dig through piles of  random stockings to find four that matched.  They weren’t my favorite at first but they matched and I knew with heat transfer vinyl, I could achieve the Personalized Christmas Stockings I wanted.

I look forward to stuffing my kids stocking every year.   As my kids get older, their stocking are full of various things but they still get  the same staple items every year  like underwear, socks, candy, a gift card and some holiday BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandage.

I’m a sucker for little holiday items too and I love how BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandage have a holiday version.   I found these holiday BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages at Target, just hover over the picture to get some of  your own.

It’s almost like Christmas comes early when you buy stuff on clearance the previous year.  It all gets packed it away and then  you are totally surprised to see it again when you pull it.   Don’t you just love that?  I was really, really happy to see I had these stockings stashed away.

To create the Personalized Christmas Stocking look I wanted, I decided to cut out each family members first initial using silver glitter heat transfer vinyl.

How to use heat transfer vinyl to Personalized Christmas Stockings Christmas

I used my Silhouette CAMEO and a LD Brownnose font to cut out the initials. Then, used an iron to  apply the HTV on to the stockings.   That’s it!  Totally Easy and Simple Personalized Christmas Stockings in like five minutes.

I love browsing the holiday section and One Spot at Target.  I’m guaranteed to find fun odds and ends to stuff in my kids stockings. These holiday BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages are just perfect too.   My daughter likes to keep a few in her book bag in case her shoes bother her at school or  if she happens to scratch herself.

I love how my Personalized Christmas Stocking turned out and already looking forward to what I may score this year at Target after Christmas.
