Christmas Snowman Ladder

December 18, 2016 by Holly Gagnon 1 Comment

I love incorporating old and new.  This vintage ladder is one of my favorite vintage pieces I own and I look forward to decorating it for the different seasons.

Like this year, I turned it in to a Christmas Snowman Ladder.

This month the Flora Craft® Make It: Fun®.  design team was sent large foam balls to create with.  I’m not kidding when I say large, like 8 to 10 inches round which inspired me to bulid a snowman with them.

I actually made a Cute Holiday Snowman last month out of smaller foam balls and since I haven’t done much decorating outside this year, I decided to turn my vintage ladder in to a Christmas Snowman Ladder.

Supplies Used:

  • FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Balls 10 inch
  • Flora Craft® Foam Cutter
  • White Paint
  • Black Buttons
  • Snowman Decorations
  • Hot Glue

Using a 10 inch foam ball, I sliced the bottom off using a Foam Cutter then painted the whole ball with white glitter paint.

I decorated my Snowman head with black buttons  and a carrot nose made out of Sculpey Clay.

Of course, no Snowman would be complete without a hat and scarf too.   The ladder is also wrapped with white lights and embellished with pine cones.

I love the way my Christmas Snowman Ladder turned out.  Frosty’s head was super quick and easy to make too plus an unique way to decorate my vintage ladder this Christmas.

Such a cute idea, and easy, too. Love it!
