Winter Ice Skate Card

January 11, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 22 Comments

Welcome to Cooking with Cricut Challenge # 68-Photo Inspiration.  The challenge this week is to see how this photo inspires your Cricut creativity.

When I saw this photo, my first thought was ice skating.  I know how to ice skate but I’m definitely not an ice skater nor did I grow up in the snow.   Also, if you look at the water it’s not frozen so you can’t really skate on it either-duh!    Anyways, a Winter  Ice Skate  was my inspiration to make this skate shaped card.Ice Skate Card made with Cricut
I welded the ice skate together using my Cricut and  Gypsy with  the Creative Memories Cheerful Seasons cartridge.  I added a snowflake die-cut, laced the shoe with ribbon and stamped a  Winter sentiment inside the card from

I think this Winter Ice Skate Card is so pretty and looks just like the inspiration photo!   Now lets see how this photo inspires you by linking up to the  CWC challenge.
