DIY Rosette Photo Frame

January 15, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 18 Comments

Welcome to the next challenge at  The Paper Variety.  For this challenge we want to see your paper rosette’s, fan folds or medallion embellishments inspired by this photo.

I  love to make rosettes, especially rosette wreaths!  I gave this rosette picture-frame wreath to my parents for Christmas.   I mean, what else do you give two people for Christmas that don’t need or want anything?  A picture of their Grand kids!

I used the Hoot-n-Holler Lite cartridge for my owl and sentiment cuts.
The paper pack is Wild Saffron from K & Company. I just love this paper! I embellished the frame with various ribbons, gems, burlap, buttons and leaves.

How cute are these little owls? The red owl represents my daughter and the green owl represents my son.

Thanks for looking and we look forward to you linking up your fan-fold projects at TPV. Remember you have 2 weeks to link your project.
