Chocolate Chip Muffin Card

June 22, 2015 by Holly Gagnon 8 Comments

Who likes chocolate chip muffins?  Me, Me!  I’ve also just spent the last week in Canada visiting with family and enjoying a Tim Horton’s Chocolate Chip Muffin daily.   So yum yet so bad for the hips!  So, inspired by my week of Chocolate Chip Muffin over-indulgence, I’m sharing a non-caloric, Chocolate Chip Muffin Card made with my Silhouette.   My hips like this much better too!

I used my Silhouette to cut out a  Chocolate Chip Muffin  cut file from PPbN Designs and turned it into a card by cutting the base of the card twice then attached one edge of the base together to make into a card.

How to make a shaped card from a die cut

This little helpful trick is an easy way to make shaped cards without having to get all “weldy” with awkward shapes.

To make my muffin look yummy sans calories, I added  swirl embossing texture and Coffee Bean CANDi embellishments.

I also added a stamp pennant flag using American Crafts paper then wrapped the card with twine and added a Heirloom Keepsake button from Buttons Galore.

A  simple shaped Chocolate Chip Muffin Card without all the calories!

I love how you pulled this card together and your non welding tip is great! Don’t you just love American Crafts paper! The embossing is just too perfect and of course who does not LOVE Candi!
