Patriotic Memory Tray

June 19, 2015 by Holly Gagnon 15 Comments

I’ve always been a big fan of the rustic Americana look.  Big Fan.  Anything weathered red, white and blue has me at Hello.  The more weathered and distressed, the better.  When I was looking  through the Americana collection from Pebbles Inc, I instantly knew I wanted to display my love of  the rustic red, white and blue by creating a  Patriotic Memory Tray to Celebrate America for the 4th of July.

Patriotic Memory Tray

I just love how the Americana collection mixture of rustic and traditional embellishments is perfect to use for all of your 4th of July decorations.

How to embellish a Patriotic memory tray for 4th of July

Typically people decorate Memory Trays with photos.  I decided to skip the photos this time and embellish the tray with various Pebbles Americana stickers, patterned papers, card stock die shapes,  pinwheels, glitter stars and journaling cards. The embellis in this collection really are awesome!

To add a unique dimension  inside one of the tray slots of the Memory Tray, I layered red & white paper straws.

Just love how this Patriotic Memory Tray was such a simple addition to my rustic 4th of July decor this year!

Such a beautiful memory tray. Love how festive it is and how you used those straws as a background. I love the trendy straws but I never buy them because I don’t see myself using enough of them. Great Job

I seriously need to try to make this – so pretty! Plus it would be a great gift for my father who served.
