Bee Happy Card

June 4, 2012 by Holly Gagnon 32 Comments

I’ve always been a lover of honey.  I think it would even so cool to  harvest bee hives except I don’t want to get stung. Like evah!   So  I guess that leaves me to creating Bee Happy Cards for fun.

Bee Happy Card made with Cricut die cutting machine and Just Because Cartridge.

To make this Bee Happy Card, I used my Cricut and the  Just Because Cards Cartridge  to cut out the  honey pot , bee’s and the Bee Happy sentiment.   I made the honeycomb’s by welding hexagon shapes  together from George and Basic Shapes then welding a smaller hexagon inside.

Bee Happy Card made with Cricut die cutting machine and Just Because Cartridge.
I embellished the card with some twine, added faux stitching using a white gel pen, then embossed the “Bee Happy” sentiment with a embossing folder.   Aren’t those little bee’s soooo cute?  I just love them!  Bee’s are totally cute until they sting you, then sorry not cute. Splat!
